"As a photographer, I have had the privilege of photographing several civil weddings in this historic wedding hall. It's practically THE wedding venue for a civil wedding in Speyer and the surrounding area. Its historic charm offers couples a unique, romantic wedding location. The magnificent atmosphere, with its high ceilings and beautiful murals, lends your civil ceremony a special elegance that's hard to find in our region.
The champagne reception can take place afterward, for example, across the street on the square in front of the Trinity Church. Since you're right in the heart of Speyer's old town, there are also many beautiful locations for the bridal photoshoot afterward.
The wedding ceremony was conducted professionally and very personally every time. Since the venue is very popular and almost always fully booked, you have about 30 minutes, which is usually perfectly sufficient, even for a few quick group photos.
As a wedding photographer, I highly recommend the historic town hall."

"Unfriendly as can be!! We had to go to the traffic fine office, and it was about a 60km drive. My husband needed to use the restroom, but apparently they don't have one there (?). So we went across the street to the town hall (a public building!). They wouldn't let him use the restroom there either, saying: "I'm not interested... Do you do that????" Shame on you!"
