What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Bismarck Tower Stuttgart for its breathtaking, free panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills, making it a top spot for sunsets and peaceful relaxation. While parking can be a bit tight, the accessibility and lack of crowds contribute to its charm.
"My favourite viewpoint in Stuttgart! You can see the beautiful city centre and landmarks from here all the way to the iconic TV tower (Fernsehturm), take in the lush green hills while sitting peacefully on one of the many benches or low stone walls, or walk along the many paths leading up and downhill from this scenic point. Accessible and open 24/7 with no tickets needed, this is a great spot to hang out at or visit. To watch the sunset you can just cross over to the other side of the street for another panoramic hill. There’s even a table tennis table, although it can often be too windy to play, given the openness of the area. Definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Stuttgart, no matter the season!"

"Rising above Stuttgart’s northern hills, the Bismarckturm offers panoramic views of the city, vineyards, and Neckar Valley. Built in 1904 in honor of Otto von Bismarck, it’s one of many towers across Germany commemorating the statesman. The structure is a striking mix of stone solidity and national symbolism.
Although you can’t always climb to the top (access is limited to certain dates), the surrounding park and vineyard paths are worth a walk. It’s a great spot for a peaceful picnic or sunset view away from the crowds."

"Fantastic view of Stuttgart. A place to walk and relax. The road is narrow but still free parking can be found. The other side of the road is offered also for afternoon sun bathing."
