What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Landesmuseum Württemberg for its extensive and thoughtfully presented collections, particularly the Celtic and Roman artifacts, and the impressive Altes Schloss architecture. However, some note issues with staggered exhibit opening times and management during special events, which can impact the overall visitor experience.
"Not a bad museum to visit. Don't know if they are short on staff but you can't see everything in one visit as certain exhibits are open throughout the day"

"One of the best museums I’ve visited. Local archeology is laid out thoughtfully and chronologically, interactive features and maps are well done. Celtic collection is wonderful especially the Hochdorf princely burial (Although that one is sort of hidden in another room with the Heuneberg and other settlement finds, don’t miss it) clock exhibit is also very interesting."
Erika Schneider
"An excellent museum with a great selection of exhibits: amazing ornamental glass in the basement, and upstairs, prehistoric/Roman/celtic/medieval and beyond. Three floors but note that (when I visited) nog all opened together (basement closed/1st floor opened at 1pm) so time accordingly... but there's loads here to keep you busy."
