What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Hasenhorn Coaster Todtnau for its thrilling ride and stunning Black Forest views, calling it an amazing experience. While some note it's not the most intense coaster, the length and scenic journey make it highly recommended. The main drawback is the potential for long queues during peak times, though visiting off-peak or in less-than-ideal weather can mitigate this.
"Fantastic toboggan run and an amazing experience! At the top of the mountain, you can take a short walk through the forest and enjoy a kiosk with a breathtaking view. The only downside is the long wait in line for a ride that feels over too quickly. Still, it’s absolutely worth it!"

"Me and my partner visited here and it was amazing! Unfortunately we arrived in the rain but even in the rain this place was amazing! The views from the top were still beautiful, and thanks to the weather, we had the track almost completely to ourselves. The ride was super fun (a bit more thrilling in the wet) and felt totally safe. Honestly, a great experience— rain or shine. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area!
It’s €7 for the ride down or €14 if you wish to be lazy (like us) and ride their ski lift up to the very top instead of hiking up!
There is also a FREE car park only a short walk away!"

"Amazing ride!! 14.50euros for ski lift up and toboggan down. We had backpacks and could put them in the front when you go up the ski lift. Then otw down you could strap it into the toboggan. Ski lift was about 12 mins up. And toboggan down was about 6 mins. SO FUN."

Getting to the top can be done via a scenic hike or by utilizing the ski lift, which is included in the premium ticket option. The ski lift ride itself offers a leisurely ascent, taking about 12 minutes, and provides stunning panoramic views of the Black Forest. Once at the summit, visitors can enjoy a short walk through the forest, often finding a kiosk offering refreshments with a breathtaking vista.

Navigating Crowds and Timing
Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends or public holidays. Interestingly, some visitors have found that visiting on a rainy day can be a silver lining. Not only does the rain offer a unique thrill to the ride, but it also significantly reduces the number of people, allowing for a much shorter wait and a more personal experience.
Despite potential queues, the consensus is that the experience is worth the wait. The operators' efficiency in sending carts back-to-back can help manage the flow, though sometimes this can lead to traffic jams at the end of the line. Planning your visit around these factors can greatly enhance your enjoyment of this Black Forest attraction.
