"We hiked a loop from the Trippstadt House by the castle, and then followed the stream for awhile. It was about 3 to 3.5 miles, and wr did it in around 2 to 2.5 hours with 3 little ones aged 4-9. It was all very walkable, though I would guess the stream can be muddy at times. It was beautiful while we were there though, and only slightly damp."
