Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Kubacher Kristallhöhle to be a well-maintained natural cave with striking crystal formations, though some feel the entrance fee is high for the experience. The significant number of steps is a notable physical challenge, and tours are conducted in German. The accompanying museum is often praised for its crystal collection.

"It is just a cave...maintained well but just for a business interest.. nothing special inside ..just going down and climbing up. There are lots of famous and more interesting caves are around the world.. rntre fees of 11 euro /person is too much in my opinion.. better you visit the museum upstair which has lot of collection of stones and crystals.....the cave is a natural cave without a single formation of stalactite or stalagmites formation inside it...better not to waste money just burning your own calories then pay again to fulfill your empty stomach in the bar..."

"It was pretty good! It's very interesting to see and all. The tour guide is in German, so I didn't understand much, but it was still interesting to see everything that's down there in the cave. Didn't see much of the crystals, but beautiful regardless! The museum they have is small, but also very good as you can see all of the crystals they managed to get from the cave, so pretty! My boyfriend and I bought some souvenirs too, hehe 💕

Went on July 26, 2025"

"It's a long walk down several levels of stairs which doesn't seem so hard on the way down but coming back up is quite the challenge. You might consider stopping a bit short on the trip down if you have heart issues. I do but I went to the bottom. A bad decision on my part. I was able to get to the top with many stops on the way. Also the guide does the tour in German. I was with others who would interpret for me. Overall it was quite an adventure."
