"Beautiful castle ruins with a great cafe and clean bathrooms. Free entry.

Inside the ruins is lovely. Lots of steps but most have handrails.

"Nice walk up to the castle. Small but not a far walk up. Plus you can drive up if you wish. They do have a snacks, etc up in the castle."

"While the journey hiking up could be fun, I think the most rewarding thing is to have the view of the town from the castle with breeze blowing onto the face rather than from exploring the castle itself. There isn't much to explore as my photos really do sum up everything there is to see.
To get to the top of the tower, the fee is 0.5 euro for adults. The narrow and winding stone stairs up the tower could be challenging with limited light.
I encountered people coming down when I was up the stairs and that was a very awkward position to be. If 2 big guys were to bump in the middle of the stairs, one might have to retract his way while allowing the other to pass.
I don't think this place is worth the trouble to purposely go out of the way to be."
