"9️⃣ / 🔟

Hello, we were here for the second time today.

The first time last year we walked up, got to the top and didn't see anything because of a snowstorm and took the historic train back straight after dinner.

The second time today we took the train up, had a very good, wide and clear view and this time we were able to examine everything.

We decided to walk down today and were overwhelmed by nature, with very beautiful views and landscapes, as well as an epic atmosphere, through small streams, cozy secret paths.

It's clear that we arrived at the bottom finished, but were still happy to have made the trip.

It was a lot of fun and we would love to come back again and again.

⚠️There are only two minor things that don't scare me and they are as follows:

1. The prices in the shops on the Brocken

❗️2. Unfortunately, there are now a lot of dead, partly burnt landscapes, which really takes you away.

But otherwise, you can still come here, you can drive up here or walk and it's fun for young and old.

Feel free to come here, see you next time.

"We took the steam train up and hiked down to Schierke, where we then caught a bus back to Wernigerode.

It was a very easy hike, mostly along gravel paths. At certain points, there was some fog. The main routes tend to be fairly busy, but we took a slight detour and didn’t see anyone for a few kilometres. I think I saw a fox along the way, too."

Samuel Tan

"Went on a 27 km hike to Brocken (highest mountain in Northern Germany) and our experience was wholesome. Finally tasted Erbensuppe at top, was filling and lecker"
