"We stayed near the castle the night before & hiked there early-ish in the morning. Took the road to the furthest parking lot & then took the trail from there. Absolutely breathtaking & beautiful. Got to the castle well before opening time but there are trails around the castle to get great views. For those that need it, there is a shuttle near the furthest parking lot to the castle. Eltz castle is incredible! Highly recommend a visit."
