"This museum is only open on Sundays between 1030 and 1230, but it is a gem to see if you live nearby! Everything in the museum is only in German, but I was able to use Google translate to translate all of the signage inside the museum. It’s such an interesting museum if you live in the area, and I would not recommend driving to this museum if you live outside of Mainz or Wiesbaden. You can learn about the history of the area, from the Romans until the Fasnacht festivals today! The docents are very friendly. There are bathrooms inside of the museum that are free. There are also paid bathrooms outside if you are visiting the nearby Biergarten. The museum is also free."
