What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hardt Park is widely praised as Wuppertal's best park, offering stunning city views, beautiful botanical gardens, and ample space for relaxation and recreation. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained grounds, the variety of walking paths, and the peaceful atmosphere, though some note the significant inclines.
"An amazing Park and recreational area in the middle of Wuppertal. Located barely 1-2 kms away from the Wuppertal Hbf station, the hilly area is a breathtaking spot for casual walk and experiencing a golden sunset. I was fortunate to stay near this place for 2 months and frequently visited this place for evening walks. Lots of benches, walking and cycling lanes, car parking spots etc are available. The hill is connected via different roads from all sides, allowing people to access it easily from different entry points. It wasn’t very crowded ever, people and couples enjoy taking romantic stroll or simply walking the dog, all the while enjoying the city view from various high vantage points."

"Beautiful huge park with beautiful flowers and sprawling lawns. Lovely to walk around and if you are tired, there are many benches or you can even sit on the grass. Note that it has a lot of elevations. There is enough place to social distance. There is also a botanical garden inside but it was closed. The restaurant was open. It also has a public toilet. Parking is available."

"Cool park on a steep hill, consider lots of climbing if you decide going here, but it will be worthwhile when you reach the top! It has a botanical garden, gorgeous flowers and some interesting tower-like buildings and historical statues! Wuppertal has really great parks and they rarely neglect them!!!
P.S. At some parts of the park is under construction so keep that in mind."
