Reviews Summary
Agbogbloshie Market is a vibrant, essential hub for local produce in Accra, offering incredible variety and affordability. Visitors praise its role as Ghana's largest traditional foodstuff market and the abundance of northern grains and spices. However, be prepared for significant traffic, potential price fluctuations, and the need to carefully check product expiry dates. The market's drainage system can also be a challenge, especially after rain.
"There's never a warning to when NOT to hit the roads to the agbogbloshie market or not. The route is often jammed from the fadama police station up to the yam market and it's not a fun ride if it's a hot day-I mean it's often times hot in Ghana but some days are humid and hotter and just anything annoys you 😁.You get it? Let alone waiting in a traffic.
The market,on a second thought I think, should be named the GAME market cox the prices of a commodity at Gh30 can be Gh50 the next day.mhmm. Such a game indeed.
My overall outlook on the market is the drainage system. It's a 20/100%...majority of the food in our homes in Accra pass through this market and to think of the filth (even better now) but NOT the best is quite questionable. 🤔
I recommend the ministry of sanitation and roads to concurrently see to expanding the roads, drenching the gutters and make them deeper to constructing a better road. When it rains,it's never exiting at all. Need I say more?..."

"Affordable place for shopping local farm products and it is very easy to get most Northern grains and spices there. Don’t try this market on a rainy day unless you’re ready to get extra dirty. Always check the expiry dates on products when buying because some of them sell expired products because they don’t even know they are expired."
