"Nice local museum. Representation of life in Corfu, in 19th- Ist half of 20th centuries."

"We were there a couple years ago. There was a sign on the door to call the number or to attend a nearby shop for attendance at the museum. The museum was closed but we like to support local activities and places so we decided to call. No answer. Then we were looking for the shop and after passing this one place twice, the third time I've decided to go into the Olimpia shop and ask for directions. The guys were very polite and welcoming and took us straight back to the museum. I think we paid €10,- each. It was mostly in Greek and there wasn't that much exposition but we felt happy that we actually did some input to conserve local history. But then the guy says - okay come downstairs and that's where the treasure lies! There were so many interesting things to see and learn! I am so glad that we went to the effort of looking for the right guy to open the place. It's not busy and no one rushes you out. Definitely one place to go!"
