What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Porto Limnionas is widely praised for its breathtakingly clear turquoise waters and stunning natural beauty, making it a top spot for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors appreciate the unique rocky landscape and the convenience of the on-site taverna. However, the beach can become very crowded, and some reviewers note issues with litter and challenging access, especially during peak season.
"Very beautiful place, water is clear, beautiful blue /turquoise. The water is cold. There were caves where people go snorkeling. The beach part is actually a rock formation and you need to go down to reach the water and up to reach the sunbathing area. End of July you pay 20 EU for umbrella and two sunbeds. Staff is kind and friendly. There is no shower. Clean toilets with everything needed are available. You can reserve place in advance. Lots of people go there and finding a parking spot it's challenging if you come later in the day. Parking is available there and when full cars stop on the streets."

"4.5 is a fair rate for this beach.
It’s super picturesque with torques clear water. Great place for snorkeling.
By the way, there is a rental spot for scuba diving and snorkeling.
We also have had a great experience of searching and catching for crabs (I have released them subsequently).
The only drawback was its overcrowds and dirtiness on the ground (mostly from smoking)."

"Absolutely gorgeous beach and one of my favorites. Very good for snorkeling and it has shallow waters as well, it's gradual and it's ranging from 30cm to 5-6m or above.
It's not suitable for kids since you can't really sunbathe and it's kinda hard for kids to reach the shallow water zone."
