"🌙 Dora Stratou Theatre – a place where myths come alive 🌙
We walked to Dora Stratou Theatre from the heart of Athens, carried by the scents of streets and stories (and guided by technology 😊), and the path led us uphill, where the city stops and the magic begins.
The open-air amphitheater felt like it had been carved out of a dream, with trees placed, as if by an invisible hand, one by one, to embrace the place and guard it from time.
As dusk fell, the place took on a special kind of magic: the scent of the trees, the silent yet present voice of nature, the warm lights wrapping the stage, the dancers and their colorful costumes… Everything came together for a dreamlike experience. An hour and a bit slipped by unnoticed, and honestly, we wished it would never end.
The music, the colors, the sounds, and the energy of the place made us feel like we were part of Greece’s own story and its contagious vibe.
We wished we could have stayed there, for the night to never end.
The shows change every two weeks, always calling you back, like a longing that never truly fades.
When we return to Athens, one thing’s for sure: we’ll be back here, where the story never wants to end."
