What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Acropolis for its historical significance and breathtaking architecture, with many highlighting the stunning views of Athens. However, the overwhelming crowds and intense heat, especially during peak hours, are frequently cited as significant drawbacks. Some guests also noted issues with room comfort and service at certain hotels.
"I recommend Acropolis Hill hotel (*). We stayed there for 5 nights in the end of November 2025, exploring Athens. Nice double room, a little balcony. Clean. Daily cleaning. Shampoo, soap, toilet paper, bed linnen, towels included. (Remember, toiletpaper goes into the waste bin.) Safety deposit box in the room. Electric kettle and tea bags in the room. Nice to start the day with ready breakfast! Also great to come to the rooftop and relax after a day on feet in the evening, looking at the city and Acropolis in the distance. Friendly and helpful hotel personnel. We could leave our luggage in a locked room after checkout , before going to the airport. We have enjoyed our stay, thank you!:)"

"Stayed here for the first night in Athens and it was a wonderful choice! 🤩Felt lucky to get a room with an incredable view of the city from the balcony. And the public terrace offers view to the Acropolis itself. In the evening it was a blast to enjoy a drink, sinking in the city view.
About the room - it was perfect size for 2 people, light, clean, well kept. Was very happy with the stay! Oh, and can’t forget to add the fact that we got light breakfast at 5:40 a.m. because we had an early bus to catch. Even though breakfast officially is served at 7 a.m. But this must be mentioned to the receptionist the day before, if you need light breakfast next day. So I can say that service was top notch! 👌🏽"
