What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Athens City Center for its perfect location, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts, making it ideal for exploring. However, some reviews mention that certain accommodations can feel dark or have dated amenities, and one guest experienced a last-minute booking cancellation. Despite minor drawbacks, the overall experience is highly recommended for its historical richness and vibrant atmosphere.
"Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was ready for a comfortable stay. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and in a perfect location — close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!"

"A tricky one this.... we stayed in the ground floor, rear flat, the cheapest one. We were after value, as the plan was to spend most of the day out sightseeing.
First, the things the flat does well:
Immaculately clean.
Comfortable bed.
Air-con works well.
Secure.
Shower works well.
The down-side is:
Immediate location is unsuitable for anyone with any mobility issues (steps in all directions), and is a bit run down.
The flat has one window in the bedroom, none in the bathroom, kitchen or second room. There is nothing the owner can really do about this, but it meant the place felt a bit dark at times.
Dodgy wiring and plumbing - everything worked, but there were plenty of weird looking botch jobs in strange places.
It served its purpose, but I cannot help but think that if I had to spend more than a few hours awake in it, it would quickly become unpleasant."

"Just had an awesome stay in Athens! The apartment was super cozy and clean.
Loved the convenient location – it was close to everything, making it easy to explore the city.
Host was great and ready with helpful tips about the area. The communication was a breeze, and he was quick to respond to any questions I had.
Overall, a top-notch experience that made my business trip to Athens even more memorable.
Highly recommend it!
Thanks, Andreas!"
