Visitors consistently praise the Cathedral of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite for its elegant neo-Renaissance architecture, opulent interior adorned with remarkable paintings and stained glass, and its serene atmosphere. It's highlighted as a peaceful sanctuary for attending Mass in various languages, including English, and a unique Catholic landmark in Athens.
"The Cathedral is a very elegant and beautiful church in Athens. The entrance has solid old marble stairs that immediately give a sense of history and dignity. I was able to attend Catholic Mass here twice, once in Greek and once in English. Even though I didn’t understand the one in Greek, the mass very solemn and reverent. The church has marble borders along the walls, columns, and remarkable Holy paintings that feel like stepping into history. The kneeling pads are high, which is very convenient because it keeps my shoes from scratching against the floor. It's wonderful place in Athens to attend Mass, so peaceful. Mass schedule are: Sunday 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM in Greek, 11:00 AM in Latin with an English homily, and 6:30 PM in English. Weekday 7:30 AM, 6:30 PM in Greek. Saturday 7:30 AM Greek and 6:30 PM in English."

"We visited the island of Zante and had to see for ourselves this beautiful historical church.
We spoke to the church wardens who were really friendly and blessed by the orthodox priest. I visited to see the art, architecture and mesmerised by the colours.
Highly recommended and such a sacred place in Zante.
