Visitors praise the Church of Agios Nikolaos Kyriakoselia for its stunning Byzantine frescoes and unique dual-section architecture, nestled in a tranquil valley. However, many note that the chapel is frequently locked, making access difficult without prior arrangement, which can lead to disappointment for those who travel specifically to see it.
"Beautiful Greek Orthodox chapel of Saint Nicholas. Actually built as 2 sections in 2 different times. The art works are amazing. Frescos contain images from the New Testament including a unique interpretation of Jesus’ baptism with St. John the Baptist.
As others have said, the chapel is normally locked. Our access was arranged through Vamos Village Tourist office and was a short stop during the “Producers Tour”. I’m not usually a tour person, but we booked several tours with Artemis and she was a wonderful guide. Would HIGHLY recommend."

"Looking from outside it’s a beautiful church and u can see a bit of the inside through a small window on the side. But if u come all the way here like me just for it i dont think it’s worth it. There is no information of the opening hours or how u can contact the man who keeps the key. All i know is on google map some one left the feedback. So i called the man from the resto but he doesnt speak english. I used google translate to send him a message politely asking how i can have his help. He just answered it’s 2 pm. So i dont have time to wait from 10 am until 2 pm just to get inside the church. I also went til his resto but no one’s there. Only a big dog barking really loud and agressive. Too bad such a treasure cant be opened for public."

"Very unique church that is worth the visit. The road to the church is relatively good (not too wide and with some turns).
Preferably make a visit in the morning"
