What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Faliraki Beach is a vast and versatile destination, praised for its ample space and clear, warm waters, even in October. While it's a resort town with many amenities, some find it not the most picturesque beach in Rhodes. Sunbed prices can be high, and the sea can get rough, but free spots and boat taxis offer alternatives.
"This is a huge beach where you can walk on for miles. It also means you get a lot of plenty of personal space (perhaps it’s different in July/august). The water is a beautiful clear colour and was still so warm in October. The beach has plenty of restaurants and bars everywhere, after all it’s a resort town. Would I stay here again? Maybe! It’s not the most gorgeous beach in Rhodes, of course, but it’s a lovely part of nature regardless."

"Not the best beach I've been to, but probably one of the few in Rhodos where you can actually find a free spot not occupied by umbrellas worth tenths of euros. The water is clear at least when you get further inside, and from here you have a stable connection to Rhodos town via one of the worst transport organisations in Ellada I've been at. Best thing is you can catch a boat for 10€"

"The sea is beautiful and clean, but depending on the weather, it can sometimes get quite rough, which may make swimming a bit challenging.
Overall, the beach is fantastic — it’s spacious and offers many options.
There are plenty of places where you can rent sunbeds.
Prices range between €15 and €30.
Along the shore, you’ll also find water sports facilities and taxi boats going to Rhodes town.
The fare is around €15–€20 per person."
