"Nice little museum with a great selection of birds, including a few extinct species. But the draw for me was the mushroom museum upstairs! It was small but very well done with a lot of species I didn’t know about before, and all set in their correct ecosystem!
We also did the truffle hunt that we booked through the museum and it was so much fun! A very unique experience that we planned our trip around. Excellent guides (and dog and chef!) and just as wonderful fresh made lunch in the outdoors! Definitely near the top of the list for our experiences in Greece so far!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It featured a large collection of animals and mushrooms in the exhibition. Every display was beautifully set up to create nature-like scenes. We learnt a lot about mushrooms too, and purchased a number of products from the upstairs store including truffle oil and mushroom soup. Every section was accessible via ramps or an elevator for baby prams and disabled people. There were even disabled parking spaces."

"We had a great experience exploring a huge collection of stuffed endangered birds and then mushrooms. The audio guide is really useful, very educational bringing awareness of the current challenges. At the second floor there is a gift shop with plenty of books, various mushroom specialities and animal toys for kids. They even offered a mushroom tasting. The employees were nice and kind."
