Reviews Summary
Karavopetra Beach is praised for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the unique 'stone boats' and crystal-clear waters, making it a top spot for snorkeling. Visitors appreciate its tranquility and lack of crowds, especially during mornings. However, the absence of facilities and the rocky terrain require visitors to come well-prepared.
"A little to the west again comes the beach of Karavopetra (the Stone Boat), so called from the huge boulders that emerge from its sands at the eastern end, looking like boats. It is also made both attractive and noteworthy by other large rocks sticking up from the sea. It has small pebbles too and clear water, but no developed infrastructure: ideal for a swim close to Palaiochora."

"One of our favourite spots for swimming.
Pebble beach with lovely colourful pebbles. Usually quiet especially in the mornings. Popular with Greek family's at the weekend but never overly busy."

"One of the best ones, even though it's the nearest to the road I've been so far. It was dark enough to see the Milky Way ๐. Crystal clear water, very calm, fewer people (like 5 people in that beach). Parking availability. I recommend the place between the rocks๐๐ผ!"
