"Well worth the drive up. It is a harrowing drive, but doable in most cars. I used a small front wheel drive Nissan. There is a straw-covered flat spot near the top that we parked on. Panoramic views of the land around."

"We walked up the road for sunrise with baby in baby carrier. Tough walk but only took about 30 mins (slowed by baby). The church wasn't open so a shame not to see in but the views were incredible and a great spot to watch the sunrise. We read the reviews about the road so decided against the drive and with the baby we wanted to go at a time when it would be quieter. We're used to narrow English country roads but I think the steepness would've have been tricky in our rental car. The walk was fine but very steep at points but at quieter times it's easy to go slow and take regular breaks as needed."
