What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Faliraki Bathing Area for its stunning views of the Old Fortress and Vido Island, crystal-clear waters, and authentic, peaceful atmosphere. Its convenient location near Corfu Old Town is a major plus. However, the lack of a sandy beach and the requirement for a minimum spend on loungers are noted drawbacks.
"You can access the area for free, but you can also access sun chairs with a minimum spend of 30€ each at Imabari Corfu. Or you can sit at a table and order what you want. It was a nice atmosphere, beautiful water and the little fish who nibble dead skin are there. There's a changing room and a shower as well. With 2 kids and 2 adults on 2 chairs, it was easy to reach 60€. There's no sandy beach though. Staff there were very helpful, attentive and pleasant even with how busy it was. Best if accessed by walking."

"A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Corfu Town!
Faliraki is a beautiful little spot right by the Old Fortress — perfect for a refreshing swim with stunning views of the sea, Vido Island, and the marina. The water is crystal clear, and even though there’s no sandy beach (just stone platforms and ladders to get in), it’s a lovely and peaceful place to relax.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the old town, making it super convenient if you’re exploring the city. I loved how local and authentic it felt — no big crowds, just a calm, scenic place to unwind. There’s a small café nearby, and the sunset here is absolutely magical.
Tip: bring water shoes for easier access into the sea, and come early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the view at its best.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Corfu Town!"
