What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mon Repos Beach offers a beautiful setting with clear, warm waters and the historical allure of Prince Philip's birthplace. However, visitor experiences are mixed, with some finding the sunbed costs high and the beach cleanliness lacking, while others praise the comfortable loungers and convenient access. The rocky seabed requires using a jetty for easier swimming.
"I’m giving 1/5 stars because of the landscape and because the water was amazing, crystal clear and warm, but the rest was purely shameless. The beach is private and belongs to a luxurious wannabe restaurant. You have to pay 14 euro for one sun-bed, and that won’t be a problem if they deliver a nice service for this cost. In the pictures you can see that not only we paid an extremely high price for some sun-beds but we risked to get skin ill.
Moreover, the restaurant manager had the audacity to come to us and threaten with the police because we bought some gyros outside his place and decided to eat them next to the paid sun-beds."

"This is probably the best Beach option in Corfu Town. The beach has a shallow entry and clear, turquoise water. The seabed consists of large rocks. It’s also possible to enter the water via a ladder. The bar has an okay menu. The mattresses on the sunbeds are very comfortable."

"Beach looks amazing, perfect for lounging and enjoying the view. Can dive off the pier and go down steps to normally swim, or walk out. Only concern is im pretty sure they changed the price of their drinks when they saw we had a 10 euro note, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't visit again."
