"The oldest literary institution in Greece. Not open to tourists. It is a place of pure class history and knowledge. What an experience. Look for events that are hosted there in order to attend. Tonight's event was to honour one of the greatest poets in Greece who is still alive at the age of 97. His speech is mesmerising. Some events are also in a foreign language but not often"

"Great society with excellent work at preserving and presenting historical books/furniture/scriptures. The people are highly knowledgeable and polite, ready to share all they know about Corfu and its history. They also got a small variety of books available for sale. The inside of the building is astonishing and definitely worth visiting."
