"A wonderful historical landmark of Mani. If you’re in search of Mani’s history and how those towers and narrow villages came about at this place you will find many information. For lovers of paintings there’s many exhibitions that take place in the same time."

"This is a must visit historical site when staying in Kardamyli or nearby areas. A well set out and presented site of a former castle and tower of a prominent family, with additional information about the Mani Peninsula. Best time to visit is late afternoon with the setting sun as the colours make for some great photos. Although we were not able to climb to the uppermost level of the tower you can go 3 floors up to get some amazing views of the surrounding area. It’s not only about the beaches, there is some amazing history in this part of Greece. There is also an amazing taverna offering really good traditional food and amazing view."
