What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Memi Beach is praised for its long, sandy shores and exceptionally clear, calm waters, offering a peaceful escape. While some note the water gets deeper quickly and pebbles have appeared, it remains a friendly spot for families and a surprising gem for surfers in the autumn. The availability of free amenities like showers and sunbeds is a significant plus.
"A very long, sandy, calm beach with crystal clear water. For snacks and refreshments during the day, Tzitzitki is the best option. There are some umbrellas, a free shower, and a changing room. All you need is a whole day of chilling out here!"

"Excellent beach due to the big blue, clean water, the sandy beach outside, and the big wide area that leaves place for everyone, to rest or play, walk or run. The last years the seashore has changed and pebbles came out, and the first meters going into the water went deep, when they were shallow. So it not such a good place for small kids, that strangle to learn swimming.
Otherwise the beach is very friendly for families also."

"Nice clean beach with only a few sunbeds. At least the only ones in the area that you don't have to pay for. Overly relying on tourism started ruining everything, but thankfully, it didn't affect this beach. Only con is the super loud noise the kids make around the subeds area. It turned into a playground where you could find a used diaper next to you left by a mum with an attitude. Typical greek family style with moms shouting, "Eat your food." Noise cancelling headphones or sitting as far away from greek families as possible is the best option."
