"Nafplio is one of the most beautiful towns of Greece. It was also the first capital. Here you can visit the Venetian Palamidi Castle or take a boat to check out the "Bourtzi" in the middle of the bay. We did not have the opportunity to do either. But we had lunch there and took a 30-minute walk through the old side of the town to Filelinnon Square and Nafplio Port.
