What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Naxos Market is praised for its incredibly friendly and negotiable owner, offering high-quality suitcases and affordable beach gear. However, some visitors have reported issues with the durability of items like sunbeds and umbrellas, along with a lack of satisfactory customer service when trying to resolve complaints. Despite mixed reviews on product quality, many appreciate the market's value and the owner's welcoming demeanor.
"The owner is the NICEST woman on the island, perhaps in Greece.
She's negotiable on suitcase prices, especially if you pay cash, and her suitcases are SO high quality and affordable.
These suitcases are about half the cost of comparable ones in Athens.
Wide selection, too. You can also get goggles, snorkels, pop-up tents, and towels for the beach here."

"Bougth a sun bed for 120 Euros. The sun bed startet falling appart during first use. Tried to deliver it back with help from a greek-speaking friend (they do not speak any English in the shop). Naxos Market took no responsibility for the sun bed with the argument that the sun bed was OK when I took it out of the shop. In my opinion they stole 120 Euros from me."

"We bought a Beach Umbrella for 25 Euros. Supossed to be on the medium range and 50spf. We went to Saint George Beach and after a light wind blow, the unbrela was destroyed. It was funny how the treated us when we went back. They wanted us to buy a better one of 120 euros or anothe version of 65... No refunds and no good customer service. THE ONLY RUDE PEOPLE WE FOUND IN GREECE"
