What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Saronic ferry services are mixed. While many praise the punctuality, comfortable interiors, and ease of e-ticketing, a significant number of travelers have experienced frustrating delays, unexpected cancellations, and unhelpful staff. This inconsistency can lead to ruined plans and a lack of trust in the service.
"Some of the older reviews complain about having to print out paper tickets for 2 euros. That was not my case. Indeed, it says on the website they have e tickets. Both my ferries were on time to almost the minute of departure. I was able to get on my ferry 40 minutes early. I also was able to make a last-minute change for an earlier ferry with no extra price. Inside both boats were spacious and comfortable. Even the bathroom was clean! They don’t do reserved tickets like some other ferries due to the more relaxed lounge-like seating. One of my ships was much newer—even had an escalator and much bigger windows—but both were nice inside."

"Purchased a ferry from Agina to Athens for 3:30pm. Finally left over 2 hours later. Do not use this ferry service.
Saronic is claiming not my fault. There comment indicates some sort of procedural issue. However most procedural issues should have been properly prepared for. Should just own up that they made a mistake, not blame something else. I have even less trust with this ferry service."
Harold Choy
"I liked this company. The ferries are on time. From the inside, it is a good design with nice furniture with a small coffee shop. One floor is air-conditioned, and the other levels are airopend"
