@eric.sierra captured a happy moment in Poros, Greece and it’s giving vibes! πŸŒŠπŸ‡¬πŸ‡· πŸ’‘ If you’re definitely going from Athens, Poros is a lovely destination, quaint town, scenic and there are some lovely beaches on the island (but that’s about it!). An alternative day trip, not as popular with some people, but worth it my opinion is Aegina. Share with an island-hopper! 🏝 πŸŽ₯ @eric.sierra πŸ“Œ Poros Isl...

The island offers a relaxed atmosphere with accessible beaches and interesting historical sites like the Old Russian Naval Base. Some find it a bit small for longer stays unless combined with mainland exploration.

"An amazing island. Very doable by foot although there are lots of stairs. There are a few nice beaches that are not too expensive and many many nice restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The small ferry is also super cheap (1,50 per person)and they run very frequently (approx every 10 mins)"

"This is a perfect island to have a good relaxing time with family or friends.
This place is so amazing and the location is unbelievable.
The little town of Poros is very compact and with a lot of historical past. It has a very nice marina and you can see all the boats that are arriving or leaving.
A plenty of choices of restaurants with all tipe of food from traditional to sushi.
This island is a very good choice for an unforgettable vacation."
