It’s beautifully maintained, with elegant touches that reflect its rich history.
The hotel is also housed within the grand Casino Rodos, which adds to its sense of old-world luxury.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better — right on the seafront and very central, with everything in Rhodes within easy walking distance. You can even gaze across the water toward Marmaris and the Turkish Riviera — it’s that close. The sea here is absolutely stunning: turquoise, crystal-clear, and refreshing, with air full of iodine and Mediterranean freshness.
The hotel is clean and well kept, and the staff were helpful and courteous throughout our stay.
However, a few things did take away from the overall experience. At night, loud music from nearby venues made it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep — not ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet.
Also, while the hotel boasts beachfront access, we were shocked to find that sunbeds cost up to €40 per day. For a five-star hotel where we’d already spent a small fortune, that felt excessive and frustrating. On the plus side, the hotel pool is free (though quite small), and it’s easy enough to pop down to the beach and then come back to the pool area to relax.
All in all, the setting is breathtaking, the building is full of character, and the Mediterranean environment is unbeatable — but a few modern issues take the shine off what could be a perfect luxury stay."

Staff were fantastic from start to finish of the booking. Helping to arrange flowers for the room and even upgrading to a large room with a sea view.
Breakfast was a typical spread but had a menu for cooked options. Both were well prepared.
The pool and pool bar were a great addition and stones throw from the beach.
Overall it was a faultless stay. Would 100% recommend."
