Though the above may be speculations difficult to confirm, it is quite easy to enjoy the elegance of the architecture.
The framing of the coats of arms is most impressive. The blazons of two Grand Masters (Emery D' Amboise and Villiers de L'isle Adam who at this point had not yet ascended to the highest ranks of the order) and two Knights, Aymer de la Chevalerie and another whose identity has been lost to us."
