What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hippocrates Square is a must-visit, praised for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning medieval architecture. Visitors love the lively energy, abundant shops, and the charm of exploring the surrounding narrow streets. However, some caution that dining prices can be high, and the area gets very crowded, especially in summer.
"A beautiful place to visit located in the old town of Rhodes, and one of the main places to visit during your stay on the island.
I recommend going either very early in the morning for a quiet stroll away from the crowds, or very late in the evening, because not only is it very difficult to find a parking space if you come by car, but also because of the intense heat from morning to night.
We preferred to go in the evening, as it is livelier and the atmosphere is more pleasant. Of course, it is still very crowded as it is a popular tourist destination, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying the charm of the old town, its shops, and its many bars and restaurants.
Don't hesitate to lose yourself in the various narrow streets, each one as beautiful as the next."

"Very busy spot. A lot of tourists around. Beautiful place to see. Before you seat for drink and dine make sure to see prices. Many restaurants ask you to come. When you order and it comes to pay you might be completely disgusted with price to pay. Go little more outside of the street and enjoy your food and drink in acceptable prices."
