Seychelles Beach was created several years ago by rockslides during tunneling to create a road to and from the village of Magganitis. It is an «exotic» beach, as its name implies, its blue waters, white sand and the impressive rocks that surround it, make up an idyllic environment! 📍 Ikaria Credits @travel__gr #ikaria #ikariagram #island #sand #sun #summer #blue #greece #greek #greekislands

Visitors rave about Seychelles Beach Ikaria, calling it an amazing highlight with incredibly clean, blue waters and beautiful stones. The hike is manageable, and early arrivals are rewarded with shade and fewer crowds. "i was there today, the beach is amazing! one of the ikarias's beach highlights. the waters are so clean and blue, beautiful stones, interesting caves around (need to swim), nice rocks to jump into the water

shadow: there is a good amount of shadow if you arrive before 1300

access: path to the beach is totally accessible by any age and fitness level, you might need some help at some points but nothing crazy or dangerous, it will be good to have both hands free

Families: visited the beach with my two sons (6years and 10 months old) - it was totally fine

recommended but not required: sports or hiking shoes"

"Really nice beach to visit. The trek to the coast is manageable even if you have a low degree of fitness. At the bottom you’ll need to trust a secured rope attached to the rock (see photo). It’s stable under foot but a bit high. Without the rope it would be quite dangerous. The beach is still viewable without doing the last bit and is still worth the short trek. I visited 930am in the morning and there was nobody there. The sun won’t quite reach the full beach until midday I’m guessing. Shots were taken via drone"

Eddie L

"Super easy to find and worth the 15 min “hike”, which is not difficult at all. Look for the arrows and ropes at the end of the trail which goes down almost straight from the parking spot. Come early as it can be busy after 12 even outside the peak season."
