What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tsigrado Beach is a visually stunning, secluded cove accessible via a thrilling ladder and rope descent. While the adventure is a major draw, the beach itself is small and can become extremely crowded, diminishing the experience for some. The access can be tricky and requires caution, but the beautiful waters and unique setting are often deemed worth the effort by many visitors.
"If you want to go just so you can say you went to a beach that could only be accessed by a dodgy ladder then go .. it’s a fun anecdote but otherwise it’s not worth it.
VERY BUSY I mean crammed in next to each other with no room at all, it’s a tiny beach.
The water is beautiful and if you do go, go early I mean get there 9.30. I managed it in flip flops but I had to take them off and go bear foot, trainers would be better.
The first ladder is ok but it’s got two rungs missing so there’s a big step at the bottom. The second ladder is a accessed across an piece of ply wood which is very slippery due to being covered in sand and is snapped in the middle it’s just hanging on by the top layer of the ply, there’s a few rungs missing on this ladder to."

"I rented a car and drove there myself. Went early in the morning and there was only one other couple there. It was so quiet and simply beautiful to be on the beach and swim in the water before the crowds start to appear (kayak tours, etc.). I should also mention, the “stairs” don’t look high, but it is awkward and very steep to get down to the beach if you approach from the top. Be careful."
