What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Temple of Apollo Zoster to be a site of historical interest, particularly for its unique coastal location and connection to sun worship. However, access can be complicated by its presence on private beach club property, leading to potential entrance fees and a less straightforward visiting experience. The lack of detailed information onsite is also a common point of feedback.
"This temple is inside the property of a beach club with a steep entrance fee or er person and a steep parking fee, if you can get in. Not worth visiting. The beach club has built a glass window in their side wall where IF you can manage to park for a few minutes you can stare at the ruins. Not worth a trip, but if you are in the area, by all means...."

"How can you miss this place when in Athens? As you stand on these ruins now you wonder why was this temple was placed by the beach? One can answer that in that temple the sunrise and the sunset are visible hence the temple of the Sun God was always bathed by Sun rays."

"Uhhh it’s cool I guess as a ruin, but it’s on the private property of the beach so you have to pay to get up close, otherwise you can see it from the fence. I wish there was a historical plaque or something to tell me a little more about this place and it’s significance."
