"You can explore St. George on foot from cruise ship terminal. It is right in the centre of town and one of the prettiest capital cities in the Caribbean."

"We were passing through Grenada aboard the Royal Carribean Rhapsody of the Seas, Nov 2022.
We decided not to take an organized shore excursion. Instead, we decided to explore on our own to see this beautiful place. We've read so many great reviews about the services available at the port.
First, we did the Grenada Train Ride and this turned out to be a great choice. The train took us around the port and gave us a quick peek of the neighborhood. We really enjoyed it.
Next, we decided to go to the Taxi services booth. No one was there except for a driver. We thought he was part of the port organized taxi service, but he wasn't. And, this was where the adventure started - along narrow one way roads, thinking we were going to fall of the cliff, and going to the spice shop on top of a mountain ( we thought we were going to the plantation). Then, we ended up at Coconut Beach for some water time. All in all, we still had an interesting time, but we will ask first next time before getting in the taxi."

"A lovely place in the world to visit, if you ever get the chance....the photos are not the port but it's apart of the place"
