What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Carbet Falls is a breathtaking natural wonder, lauded for its stunning beauty and the immersive rainforest experience. Visitors consistently praise the majestic cascades, particularly the accessible second fall. However, the trek is often described as very challenging, steep, and slippery, requiring good physical condition and proper footwear, especially if it has rained.
"Very hard trek but suuuper beautiful! We used ropes, used our hands and butts to be able to go down and up and we definitely took longer than what is written in the signs. If it’s raining do not attempt to go, you can slip very easily! (you need to be careful even when it’s sunny!)
Other than that, this hike is amazing. Nature takes you in and everything smells absolutely amazing 🌸"

"This trio of waterfalls cascading down the slopes of La Soufrière volcano are a must-visit! Guadeloupe's natural beauty is truly something to admire and an unforgettable experience!"
Martin Boileau
"Very steep! Not for the faint of heart. 4 hours round trip and you will use hands on rocks in places and even a rope or two that are attached in place. If you can't hike for 4 hours do not attempt the top falls. Really cool if you like adventurous hikes"
