Reviews Summary

Bourda Cemetery is a bustling market offering a vibrant slice of Georgetown life with abundant fresh produce and local goods. Visitors appreciate the authentic experience and the availability of unique items like herbal remedies. However, the intense traffic and crowds can be challenging, and some advise caution when photographing vendors.

"Lots of good food stalls and fresh fruit here. We popped into different parts twice and enjoyed it both times. This place doesn't have the people telling you to be as careful while visiting, which is a plus."

Donella Held

"Gosh! This place is a madhouse. The cars and scooters don’t give you chance. Walking and trying to see what the stalks have is a nightmare. And the smells….bad bad bad …. But on the brighter side albeit the vendors were friendly except one guy who demanded money when I asked about photographing a gooseberry. We did buy some fruits and made an exit. Oh yes…. Getting a taxi was a challenge. So be prepared."

Fulldistance Going

"That's a less intimidating market than the other one in the city center, as it's less chaotic. Theres a ton of cool stuff, including some local remedies!"
