"The place of the seven ponds is ugly and very unkept. The water looks absolutely disgusting and the grass needs weeded desperately. It is a nice place to see but brings back negative vibes. Not a place youd wanna go for wedding photos"

"I came across this national monument when I was visiting the Botanical Gardens in Georgetown. It is a shrine where four Guyanese who contributed to the development of the country are entombed. They are Govenor General Sir David Rose, National Poet Martin Carter, President and Prime Minister Hugh Desmond Hoyte and President Arthur Chung. It is a unique monument, but unless you read the placque which is off to the side you would think that it is something else. Once you read the history, you feel a little humble. Also called the "Place of Heroes"."
