"The place seems quite neglected. I looked for a place with a pool to relax on our last day in Copan and this one was the cheapest option. Still expensive for what it turned out to be. There weren’t any comfortable chairs/area where you could relax around the pool. The room was dark and we found one cockroach on the floor. No water came out in the restrooms in the restaurant. Breakfast was included but very basic.
Things we liked about the place: calm, outside of town, comfortable beds, big shower, the butterfly garden with beautiful butterflies, the pool (although the areas around it need improvement).
The place in general needs improvement in order to feel you get fair value for what you spend."

"ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! At this hotel you will feel immersed with nature. Ask for the room on the second floor with the creek view. It was marvelous. King size bed and 5 windows overlooking the forest. I would have given them a 5 stars if they had a security lock inside to lock the door for extra security. As a female solo traveler I value this extra type of security a lot. The pool was not very clean, water was a little murky. No one answers the phone when you dial the restaurant or reception from your room. Despite these minor issues, this is the best place to stay in Copan. Staff was super nice! "Shame, really. We stayed with our two kids, and on our only night stay, our room flooded when the guests above showered. Since the office closes at night, it took us a few minutes to get a maintenance person to give us access to another room, which they did. Unfortunately, the shower in that room was clogged, so we ended up turning the shower on/off so that we wouldn't stand in dirty shower water. Even before that, the pool was inoperable, so the kids never got to bathe in the afternoon. Horrible experience, not recommended."
