"WEST BAY BEACH-Roatan Island: No Shoes, No Shirt, FULL SERVICE😎That sums up the vibe of this tropical destination- beautiful, but not for my high maintenance friends 😉 The locals are warm & welcoming, we felt safe whether running early in the morning running or exploring new hikes. The island is loaded with Americans visiting from all over & many own condos & live here full/part time. The secret is out though- prices on the rise from restaurant food to the markets- double taxes on all things ordered (difficult to find fresh fruit & veggies at the markets which is something we value)-but restaurants offered a modest variety. It has been a sweet adventure☺️ we explored West End down & beyond to West Bay all the way to Lighthouse point. The airport was rough-took 2 hours to just leave due to bottleneck traffic-but again-people were very nice."
