Reviews Summary

Visitors find Cheung Po Tsai Cave a unique and memorable experience, offering a glimpse into pirate history. While the cave is small and dark, requiring a flashlight and careful navigation due to slippery surfaces and narrow passages, the surrounding hike and island offer beautiful views and a pleasant atmosphere. It's a worthwhile stop for adventurers and history buffs, though those with severe claustrophobia or mobility issues should exercise caution.

"Even though I am claustrophobic & hate the dark… (it’s literally pitch black in the cave btw) pretty cool experience going through the cave. There were ladders to help you go up & down. With all due respect, would not recommend going through it if you are on the wider side as you could easily get stuck. Easy to get to & nice views"

"As I ventured inside the cave, I felt like stepping back in time to the 18th century when pirates ruled the south china sea. The stunning formations and rich history left me in awe. If you are history buff or adventure seeker, add Cheung Po Tsai cave to your bucket list!"

Evangeline

"Quite a scenic place, and the waters are quite clear. There is a bit of climbing. However, be careful of the wet rocks as it can be quite slippery. Suggest to stick to the recommended path. There are a couple of resting points where you can take a break and just hear the waves."
