What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Citylink Plaza is praised for its exceptional convenience, especially its direct connection to the Sha Tin MTR station, making it a breeze to access. Shoppers appreciate the modern, air-conditioned environment and the variety of shops and dining options. However, some find the mall can get very crowded, particularly during peak hours and events, leading to queues for lifts.
"Easily accessible via ShaTin MTR station, exit A and up the escalators. Foods are available on 1st floor, many others activities up the lifts like 楼上for dried stuff and titbits.
Getting very crowded due to Lego exhibition on 清明上河图"
Wayne tham
"Once you step in the plaza, you will be surprised that over 99% of store names are in English. You would be mislead to think you're in London, not in Hong Kong a Chinese city. But shoppers are 99.9% Chinese and mostly locals speaking Cantonese or mandarin. It is not a Chinese friendly shopping center. But very funny to find out that the target patrons are Chinese."
Rudy
"Modern shopping centre with some luxury brands and nice air conditioning."

The Underground Advantage
The convenience of this underground passage is a significant draw, offering a 'life hack' for navigating the city. It's a testament to smart urban planning, ensuring that even during heavy rain or intense sun, the flow of people continues uninterrupted. The mall itself is lined with a variety of shops and eateries, making the journey not just functional but also enjoyable.
For visitors, understanding Citylink's role as an underground connector is key to maximizing their time and comfort. It's a practical solution for moving between key attractions while also offering a unique shopping and dining experience.
Festival Citylink: A Bandung Hub
Recent updates have introduced new ambiances and tenants, enhancing the overall visitor experience. TikTok creators often highlight the mall's transformation and its role as a 'mall legend' in Bandung. Beyond retail, FCL also features amenities like hotels and entertainment options, making it a one-stop destination for locals and tourists alike.
For families, FCL offers attractions like a spacious, ocean-themed playground, providing a fun diversion for children. The mall's accessibility via public transport also makes it an easy place to visit for a day of shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Navigating Crowds and Queues
This congestion is amplified during special events or exhibitions. For instance, a Lego exhibition once caused significant crowds. While the mall offers a modern shopping experience with air conditioning, visitors should be prepared for potential waits, particularly if they plan to visit during weekends, holidays, or when popular events are taking place.
To mitigate this, consider visiting during off-peak hours on weekdays. If you must visit during busy times, be patient and factor in extra time for navigating the crowds and potential queues for lifts or popular stores.
