What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cross Cafe offers a genuine Hong Kong-style cafe experience with generous portions and reasonable prices. Diners praise the authentic flavors, lively atmosphere, and classic dishes like milk tea and noodle sets. Some find certain dishes sweeter than expected, and service can be inattentive during busy periods.
"Dropped in for breakfast and gave the satay beef instant noodles in pork bone broth with milk a try. It came as part of a set with a drink, scrambled eggs, ham, and toast—definitely a hearty start to the day. The beef was well-marinated and had a nice, tender texture. However, the pork bone broth with milk seemed to dilute the satay flavor, making it less rich than expected. Service was decent, and the overall vibe made for a pleasant and satisfying breakfast experience."

"If you're in the mood for some delicious Hong Kong-style cuisine, you simply must visit this restaurant. This cozy little cafe is the perfect spot to indulge in some classic Hong Kong-style snacks and drinks, all served up in a lively and bustling atmosphere.
The menu at “十字冰室” is extensive, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. If you're in the mood for a snack, be sure to try the egg waffles or pineapple buns, both of which are light and crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside.
For something heartier, the menu features numerous noodle and rice dishes, all of which are prepared with authentic Hong Kong-style flavors. The shrimp and egg fried rice is a particular standout, with its savory flavors and generous portions.
Of course, no visit to a Hong Kong-style cafe would be complete without trying the milk tea, and this restaurant efinitely delivers in this department. The milk tea is creamy and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness and tea flavor.
The atmosphere here is lively and bustling, with friendly staff and great service. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or to relax with a refreshing drink and soak up the lively vibe.
Overall, this is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to experience the flavors of Hong Kong in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!"

"The eatery was not special. The menu was short and the price was average. Quality of food was acceptable. Coffee was instant one. Staff were not hearing very well and only attentive to kids. The tableware had to be taken out from the transparent plastic box but fingers were touching fork and spoon which were not so hygiene. Octopus card was accepted for payment."
