What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Deep Water Bay Beach for its beautiful golden sands and clear waters, offering a tranquil escape from the city bustle. The scenic coastal path and the luxurious surroundings add to its appeal. However, some find the limited food options and occasional crowds on weekends to be drawbacks.
"This good stretch of beach is located right by the busy Island Road. Public parking is relatively abundant in HK standard. However, parking in those metered spot could be a challenge, especially at night and you are a lone driver. You literally have to stop both sides of the traffic before you could pull out.
The beach itself is fine, water pretty clear (in Dec when I filmed) and sand soft and clean. Along with the barbecue area next to it, deep water bay is a "hot spot" during summer season."

"Quiet easy to reach small beach but no much restaurants or other facilities, near the main road so you need take care of the kids"
Alaa Habeebullah
"Nice beach and views of surrounding areas. Water quality- clean but sadly bits of plastic floating about. There are no convenience stores or kiosks for drinks/snacks, just one Thai restaurant which was quite good. Life guards on duty."
