The Halloween event was especially disappointing. It was advertised as suitable for kids aged 8 and up, yet a group of toddlers entered and came out crying, even though there was nothing inside except darkness and a few decorations.
There was a Halloween photo booth, but the staff couldn’t speak English and were unable to explain anything clearly.
Overall, it was a complete waste of time and money. No reason to come back."

"I honestly feel bad leaving a negative review, but I think it’s important to share my experience. Unfortunately, this location feels poorly managed. The staff seemed unsure of what was happening, and overall the place lacks the variety and entertainment that the old Discovery Bay branch used to offer. There are only a handful of attractions, and most areas are really geared toward children under 5, which makes it less appealing for older kids.
We also attended the Halloween event, which was quite a letdown. The “dark room” advertised for ages 8 and above was instead filled with toddlers, many of whom were understandably upset and crying in the tight, dark space. It didn’t feel well thought out or age-appropriate.
EpicLand has potential, but right now it needs better organization, clearer staff guidance, and more diverse attractions to make it enjoyable for a wider age range."
