What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Citygate Outlets is praised for its convenient location as a transit hub and its wide selection of international brand outlets, offering potential bargains. Visitors appreciate the diverse dining options and family-friendly amenities like the water play area. However, some note that prices, while discounted, can still be on the higher side compared to other markets.
"I really like this shopping centre. Firstly very easy to get to, as it is at Tung Chung mtr which exits directly into the shopping centre. Secondly it has good facilities by which I mean toilets. Yes this is important. Thirdly there are many excellent restaurants distributed throughout the shopping centre that make it easy to make a day of it here. Fourthly and if course most importantly the shopping. The range of brands is excellent and the shopping centre is larger whether you are looking for clothing, homeware, electronics, etc it really does not matter. It's probably here. The discounts are excellent here and 20-70% off is not unusual at all. It is an outlet shopping centre after all. And if none of this impresses there is a cinema here too."

"Citygate Outlets, Hong Kong
The best shopping spot near Hong Kong Airport! ✈️🛒
Citygate Outlets offers a great mix of luxury and casual brands with real discounts. The mall is spacious, modern, and easy to navigate. Everything feels clean, organized, and air-conditioned — perfect for a few hours of comfortable shopping.
You’ll find top brands like Nike, Adidas, Coach, and Levi’s with genuine outlet prices. There are also plenty of cafés and restaurants for a quick break. ☕🍜
Connected directly to the Tung Chung MTR station and close to the Ngong Ping 360 cable car, it’s super convenient for travelers.
💡 Tip: Come early or on weekdays — it gets busy in the afternoon!"

"One of the large shopping malls closest to the airport. It’s a good option if you have some gap time before or after a flight. You can take a quick bus ride here, enjoy some views on the way, grab a meal, walk around, and kill some time comfortably. The mall has plenty of space and enough shops and food spots to keep you occupied while you wait."
